chris peterson w/ members of sublingual ensemble
This past Sunday on the Jazz & Non-Jazz program marked the first in a new series of live improvisatory on-air performances. Chris Peterson, free-improv guitarist and ringleader of the Rattling Wall Collective in Dutch will be curating a live improv ensemble for the fourth Sunday of each month this semester. For the first installment Chris invited four members of the local free jazz sextet sublingual ensemble: James Cornish (trumpet, effects), Piotr Michalowski (reeds, flute), Michael G. Nastos (percussion, effects), Rob Crozier (bass). Details will follow soon with regard to the scheduling of future live in-studio improvisors.
